We’ve developed a proven, transparent approach that guides our clients through every stage of the journey, from initial conversations to long after move‑in day. We recognize that no two projects are alike, and each requires a thoughtful, tailored approach. That’s why our process is built on integrity and designed to provide clarity, confidence, and peace of mind to bring your vision to life the way you want it.  

Exploration

Every project begins with a collaborative exploratory conversation. This initial meeting allows us to get to know one another while gaining a clear understanding of your goals, scope of work, budget considerations, and timeline. 

During this stage, we outline the William Blake Homes process, including an overview of services, timelines, and expectations. An initial budget discussion helps ensure informed decision‑making and strong alignment from the outset. 

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT + BUDGETING

Experience, expertise and compatibility are key to a successful design process. Working in partnership with the right architect, architectural designer, or interior designer, we usher your ideas ed into a thoughtful concept that balances form, function, and inspiration. 

Throughout this phase, we maintain complete openbook transparency. The construction budget is carefully reviewed and evaluated at this stage and continues to be refined at key milestones throughout the project to ensure clarity and confidence moving forward. 

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

From development and subdivision approvals to building permit applications, demolition and final approvals, our team manages the entire pre-construction process from start to finish. We navigate the complexities on your behalf while providing consistent updates and clear guidance every step of the way. 

Construction Commencement

As construction begins, excitement builds as your custom home or renovation takes shape. 

Each project has a dedicated William Blake Project Manager assigned to manage construction and keep you updated through an online project platform. Daily site reports, schedules and photos are available at any time, keeping you fully informed throughout construction. 

Internally, our project team meets to assess progress, address upcoming milestones, and ensure consistent communication and execution. 

THE JOURNEY HOME

As your project nears completion, the final details come together and move‑in day approaches. This is the moment your vision becomes reality with a home thoughtfully built, ready to welcome you. 

Approximately two weeks prior to possession, we conduct a detailed walk‑through to identify and address any outstanding items. We repeat this process again on possession day, ensuring all items have been completed and systems are demonstrated for a smooth transition into your new home. 

WARRANTY & BEYOND

Our commitment doesn’t end at possession. We maintain an open line of communication with scheduled check‑ins at 12, 6, 12, and 24 months. Beyond the warranty period, William Blake Homes remains available to support your ongoing home service needs.
