Dave and his team set a budget that was realistic and gave us every opportunity to come under it throughout the project. If we decided to do something that added scope the change was clearly planned and dealt with appropriately. When those little inevitable problems did arise they took full ownership of setting things right irrespective of the cause. We began working with William Blake a few months before the pandemic yet, despite working almost entirely through periods of Covid restriction, our schedule and budget were met.

Now that we are in our home and normal settling in occurs or minor issues present themselves the team at William Blake is right there to make sure everything remains to the high standard of quality that they promise without question and without hassle.
Were we to build another home we would immediately contract with William Blake to do it!

Dave Tidmarsh with William Blake Homes has now taken care of several issues with my home. Originally, he organized a complete backyard renovation and more recently assessed and properly diagnosed issues with water entry; something home warranty had repeatedly failed to do. His team then oversaw a very rapid and thorough fix after many months of getting nowhere with home warranty. They were prompt, professional, and exceptional quality. I really enjoyed building our dream home with William Blake Homes. I’m super happy with the finished house (we’ve lived here for 7 months now), and every day I can’t believe I get to live in a house this nice. The William Blake people were absolutely awesome from start to finish. I found them all to be very reasonable and helpful whenever something came up, or I wanted something custom, or something fixed. They all work really hard (days, nights, and weekends, honestly).

Along the way, I kept dreaming up custom things I wanted like a golf simulator room, multiple offices, a soundproof room, underground storage cavern, black steel fireplace and hoodfan, wrap-around balcony, and custom steel ladder to the roof hatch, to name a few. It’s these customizations that make me so excited about the house, and make the custom homebuilding process totally worthwhile.
